Legality of selling mushrooms from purchased spawn and then grown in logs. #341368

I have started growing shiitake and oyster mushrooms in logs from spawn (inoculated dowels) from a reputable mushroom company. My question is, from a legal standpoint, if I sell these mushrooms to farmers markets, friends etc, what concerns should I have?

This is a question you need to ask a lawyer and the people running the market. When you are selling food items, there can be many hoops to jump through regardless of your source of the mushroom spawn.
