I am sure it is not an ivy flower but have never seen it before. Perhaps some kind of terrestrial orchid? Maybe you can dig carefully around it and see if it is a bulbous plant? Your best bet might be to contact the Master Gardeners in Hartford county. They are located at the West Hartford UConn campus. If you bring in a sample, they could probably use their plant keys and identify it. Their number is<personal data hidden>.
