This pine is located on the SW corner of my home, the house faces south. It has look just great every year but now seems to be "dying back", especially at the top. Wondering what is causing this and should I be concerned?

Your tree is a spruce, and probably a blue spruce. The top is indeed dead and some of the lower branches have the same problem. It is hard to tell from this photo exactly what is causing it, but it is probably covered in this web page (which actually is from Minnesota) -- http://files.dnr.state.mn.us/assistance/backyard/treecare/forest_health/whitesprucediagnosis.pdf. Look it over and then examine your tree more closely.
