I ordered carnivorous plants the seeds looked the same as a Venus flytrap but this is not what it is. Now I'm trying to figure out what kind of plant or group of species it may turn out to be. Is anyone able to somewhat get a guess at what it might be?

The photos are not clear enough to identify your plant. It helps to see the leaf veins clearly, and the leaf attachment order on the stem: alternate, opposite, or whorled.
This is a top view with veins and the plant is around 1 month old
I don't recognize this plant. It could be a pokeweed, Phytolacca, seedling. There are many other plants with this "look" when so small. Perhaps the source where you obtained the seed can tell you what these plants are?
I will send your question to other experts in case someone knows the plant. If not, please send a photo update when the plant is blooming.

I was thinking it looked like a type of ornamental amaranth but am not sure either.
