What kind of oak and what is the disease? #330286

Please find attached images of the Oak Tree and diseased leaves.
Could you please help identify the type of Oak tree.
Could you help identify the type of disease and what can be done to eradicate it?
In addition to the growth/spots on the leaves I can see the leaves in the lower branches (image 3) are also curled and look like they have been infected. Not sure if that is related to the spots on the leaves in Image 1. Any help in identifying these is greatly appreciated.

Your oak is one of the red oaks.
What it has on the leaves is not a disease, it is galls. Specifically, these look like red oak galls. (Look at a search engine's images.) Galls are the leaves' reaction to insect activity. Here is information about it from our website: http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/shade-tree-galls
There are many kinds of galls and most have no negative effect on the tree. (Some galls on the woody twigs are not good.) So we do not recommend taking any measure for it. Galls do not cause leaf wilting.
Unfortunately, the 3rd image is blurry and we cannot see any symptoms.
