Problem with Bur Oak leaves #327552
Asked June 01, 2016, 2:04 PM EDT
Can you tell me what is happening with my bur oak leaves? It's happening on all of my bur oaks, but no other trees seem affected. I can't find any insects on the trees. It seems to be an annual problem.

Yes, maybe. But what about the picture on the right, where all the tissue is missing and only the veins are left?
My wife had heard that oak wilt is incurable and eventually kills the tree. Is that not true, or maybe a different disease? The article makes it sound like no big deal.
Thanks for your help.

Simply put... Bur Oaks do not get Oak Wilt. It would be best to get an Arborist out to take a look and get a positive diagnosis.
I'm confused. You said it was oak wilt.
No I didn't. I referred you to a link that sits on an Oak Wilt Site for Tubakia. Please follow the link and take a look.
