Hello,
This is a maple tree (Autumn blaze, I believe) I planted last summer. This spring it looked like it would leaf out fully, but now all the leaves are wilting and brown. I thought, at first, it needed more water, but that has not seemed to help the problem. Any idea what could be causing this? And what can I do to save the tree?

I think it is time to contact the nursery that sold the tree. From the photos provided it does not appear that the tree survived transplantation and the past winter. Leaves develop the preceding fall so a tree that did not survive can leaf out spring. The nursery can advise you.
