Everbearing Raspberry Bush #325399

This is the second year of my everbearing raspberry bush. Some of the leaf tips have started curling and are black. I found other sites saying that it was a disease and some that said it was windburn/frostbite. Some of the leaves also have a reddish hue to them. I've read that is a lack of potassium or something and to just add fertilizer to it. Any recommendations? Do I need to dig up the whole raspberry bush or is salvageable?

Expert Response
This could possibly be a cane borer such as rose stem girdler or raspberry crown borer. The inly way to tell is to cut the symptomatic cane lengthwise and look for a white larva or brown droppings along the center pith.
Alternatively, you can take a cane sample to the Utah County Extension office in Provo: https://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&hl=en-us&biw=320&bih=460&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=us&entry=s&sa=X&ftid=0x874d9752558d1559:0xe87fbacfb64c1049&gmm=CgIgAQ%3D%3D
