Hello,
From your pictures you have a Fatsia japonica. It is sometimes call Fatsi. This is shrub that can get 10-12' tall and wide. If it dies back in your area then it won't get so big. It's a beautiful plant. I needs well drained soil and grows in sun to part shade.
