Looking for an evergreen tree/shrub for a small St. Paul yard. #305188

I am looking for a kind of conical shaped evergreen tree/shrub that is low growing and can be planted in a row to block a view. Can you think of some good trees/shrubs that would fit this purpose and that are low maintenance? All the pine trees I've seen so far are very tall and there are power lines overhead. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks! Kathy

Thank you for the question. We think this publication from the University of Minnesota will help you decide what to plant. The right plant in the right place is key to success so make sure you are aware of how much sunlight the area gets and the type of soil and soil moisture you have. Good luck!
