I have 4 young mulberry trees which I bought last year. I think they are 3-4 years old.
This year one of the plant have started to set some fruit. I have some questions:
Does a mulberry tree require a male flower or do they get self pollinated ?

Expert Response
Some mulberries are monoecious (having male and female flowers and therefore self fertile) and some are dioecious (require male and female plants to get fruit). Strictly male plants cannot produce fruit. vw
