That is so cool! I think it might be a Albuca spiralis. Everything I've read about it says that it's rare and unusual. Here's what I found:

The Albuca spiral (Albuca spiralis) is a perennial rare and unusual plant of the Asparagaceae family. Originally from South Africa, this plant has a curiosity foliage shot stopper, hence its name spiralis.

Intriguing both for its appearance and its beauty, this plant grows in clumps of 20 cm also produced a superb spring bloom of April-May In addition, its flowers have a slight vanilla fragrance. Its flower spike can reach about 50 cm in height.

For culture, the spiral Albuca requires well-drained soil although composed of coarse sand. Warning, this plant does not like abundant water, a lack of water during the summer it is rather profitable. Hardly rustic, it is best to cultivate this small collection plant in pot. Spring planting in draining substrate at a temperature of 25 ° C in a well-light exposure.
