We have 58 Aristocrat Pear Trees , some of which have had fire blight. Some tree service companies want to continually (annually) perform a systemic root flare injection as well as perform a bark treatment to help suppress Japanese maple scale. One company feels a good pruning will be adequate as they feel the trees are healthy. Please advise as to your feelings on this. Thank you.
