It is a coleus, a common ornamental garden plant.

Noting it is in a pot and it is December, it might be helpful to add that coleus is typically grown in shade or part shade as an annual.  It will survive inside during winter but even with max light will undoubtedly become even more leggy than now per your photo.  However, in +/- March, take tip cuttings to root for starting new plants, at which time the mother plant could be pruned back to encourage a bushier, more attractive form.  Good luck.  an MD gardener
