Large Dead Crickets #276828

We are located on Tilghman Island, Maryland and have noticed a large amount of large dead crickets in the past 3 weeks. We have never noticed this in the last 28 years. Any idea of what is causing this? Thank you.

We have no information concerning a widespread problem with crickets.  If you can send us some digital photos of the crickets for identification purposes, perhaps we can determine a likely cause.

It's impossible to say the cause from the photos.  Someone in the vicinity may have used an insecticide that they ingested.
