Expert Response
Hi there.
Thanks for your patience. Based on the images of the flowers, I will say it is a Ceiba tree, formerly known as Chorisia genus. I can't tell if it has spines on the trunk but, that will help to the identification. If you look for Ceiba or Chorisia speciosa, you will find more information and better images to compare it to your tree to start with.
if you have any future questions and you live in Miami-Dade County, you are welcome to contact our UF/IFAS Extension office to our Master Gardeners or landscape extension agents and we will help you. Our phone is<personal data hidden> or go to our website for more information: http://miami-dade.ifas.ufl.edu
Have a great day
