Hi, my forsythia leaves are browning around the outside. They look wilty, but in a damp way. I never give it any additional water. It's in mostly shade with rich loam. I don't see any stem issues. What could this be?

Hello,
From the pictures this appears to be a condition known as leaf scorch. If you are not watering and have not applied fertilizers lately, it is likely caused by the hot, dry conditions we have been experiencing.
