Looks very similar, but this survives zone 5.

I agree with Tom, it is likely in the Perilla genus. You could easily have a Zone 5 if you are close to the lake and it is in a protected area. Actually, most of Lake county is 5b:

The Perilla genus has a few gems of invasives.  My favorite is P. frutences when is called the Beefsteak Plant: https://www.extension.purdue.edu/extmedia/BP/WS-43-W.pdf

Our map only shows it in southern counties but in truth, it is migrating east (from Missouri) and north. That you may have it or another invasive mint would not be a stretch. If it has a square stem, I would pull it and discard it or send it in to campus for a positive ID.
