Schefflera Leaf Problem #267847
Asked August 05, 2015, 2:36 PM EDT
I have an indoor Schefflera plant that has recently developed a problem with it's leaves. Very quickly (all most over night) part of the leaf will turn brown and become completely limp. The plant is not in direct sunlight and I am unable to see any insects on the leaves. Photo is attached - Thanks

Hello and thank you for contacting us.
Your schefflera appears to have a fungal disease or perhaps cold injury. They can be a bit finicky about watering and air temperatures. Here is a link that describes some schefflera leaf problems along with the cause and treatment. http://extension.psu.edu/pests/plant-diseases/all-fact-sheets/schefflera-diseases
They are a beautiful houseplant; hope yours pulls out of this!
