Hello! My neighbor is growing a couple tomato plants and none of them are turning red they're just being green and starting to deforming and are overly large. Any tips on how to help some of them turn red? I found a blog post that mentioned taking off a couple tomotas might help the plant put energy towards turning them red since we had a bad growing season. Any other ideas? Thank you so much for your time I look forward to hearing from you soon

It sounds like your neighbor has a heirloom tomato.  They do not look deformed to me.  Tomatoes come in all shapes.  Many heirlooms need a longer time to ripen.  They should be left on the plant until ripe.  Some need 80+ days from the time planted to produce but that taste is well worth the wait.
