Apple tree infestation #265350

Asked July 27, 2015, 4:30 PM EDT

I planted 3 apple trees 2 years ago and have some sort of an infestation. I contacted the orchard where I bought them and sent them these pics - they said they think it is a combination of Japanese Beetle and a leaf miner. They cannot recommend sprays for liability reasons, and so suggested I contact the state extension office. One tree is Ginger Gold (that one was replanted new this year as original one did not survive the winter and possibly deer) and the other is Gala. I also have a Pink Lady that is less damaged. Can you please recommend what pesticides I should purchase (and when/how to use them)? Thanks. Ben
