I have a milkweed that looks like it may be infested with some sort of eggs and some type of bug. Is this this infested with something I should pull the weed and count it as lost and get rid of the bug? What kind of bug is this as well?

Another expert thinks what appear to be milkweed bug eggs are actually aphids. The bug probably just happened by. Compare:
