    See pictures.... We have these runways winding across the surface of our front lawn. The runways are about 1 to 2 inches wide and 10+ feet long. The roots are being eaten or destroyed and leaving dead grass along the path. What animal is doing this and how to eliminate?

    We have tried to grow grass several times under two big pine trees in our backyard. However, we have been unsuccessful. We have two small dogs, and very little yard space in our backyard. Our dogs main bathroom area is the space under those two pines, which is basically just dirt/mud. What can we plant there, which will give us good ground cover and won’t be toxic to our fur babies?

    Hello: I'm not sure to ask, but we have some grape vines at our new house that are very overgrown and need an overhaul, and I don't want to screw it up. Is there anyone I can ask for advice on this? I believe the sellers said these were some kind of northern-adapted grape, so I don't want to assume that I can follow California wine country pruning guidelines. Thank you! Michael Corey

    Last summer, I trimmed back large 'dead' branches from a forsythia bush. There now are few buds on those that are left. Should I cut back all to ground? I live in Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Thanks for help!

    I have several gooseberry and currant plants that have developed Anthracnose (I have properly diagnosed) over the past couple of years and I would like to know how to properly treat this disease with fungicides. I am not sure which fungicide to use and exactly when (a garden center employee suggested some applications early spring and when leaves have formed). Advice would be greatly appreciated.     How to use Coffee Grounds in my Veggie Garden #738143

    We've collected (used) coffee grounds from several coffee shops and have spread them on top of the veggie garden. Should we (1) till the grounds into the garden and THEN add chickity doo on top, or (2) add the chickety doo and other additions and till it ALL in at one time? We had our soil tested before we added the coffee grounds and were told not to add any lime this year. Thank you for your help! We really appreciate it. Cindy & Charles
