Please identify this tree. It is growing in a swampy area and there are many of them. They can also get quite large and seem to be a soft wood.

Can you provide more of a description? Please describe the average height, texture of the bark (photo), form of the trees, etc.
I asked a couple of other experts for you and it is a box elder tree. They are in he maple family which is why hey make samaras ( winged seeds).
