dispose of dead wood in a bog #259266

I have piles of dead wood ( felled trees cut into logs years ago ) that I would like to dispose of.
I have a large boggy area on my property and I am wondering if throwing the logs into the bog will be better than keeping them in a pile.

Thank you for contacting us. Bogs are a very special type of ecosystem that are important in their own right and should be left undisturbed.
