Is there any reason to worry about salmonella after spraying homemade deer repellent on garden vegetable plants? I used the recipe your university has listed containing raw eggs. Thank you.

Here's the answer you did not want: any raw egg can be a salmonella risk.  That's why many of the OTC deer repellents use putrefied egg solids, meaning it was cooked prior to adding it to the repellent. These are some of the most effective repellents on the market.
