Itslian plum tree issues #252448

Asked June 08, 2015, 8:21 PM EDT

I have a nice old Italian plum tree and its leaves have grown in all crinkly and shriveled. It looks very sick, most of the leaves are this way. It had a strong bloom this spring though. I suspect it may be a nutrient deficiency, but would love expert advice.

Expert Response

What you most likely have is an infestation of the plum leaf curl. Watch for laydbug larvae or you might consider purchasing ladybugs for a release on the tree.
