What is causing my potato leaves to curl up real tight after they have emerged? They curl up and seem to be hard - not soft and pliable. Attached are pictures taken on 6/7/15 of 3 different plants. Thank you.

Expert Response
Thank you for your question.
It is hard to diagnose plant diseases over the internet. When I try to zoom in the picture is too blurry. New leaves emerging on the potato plant can be caused from Potato Psyllids.
Please take a look at this link from Colorado State University.
If you are unable to detect this insect, you can take a sample of your leaves
to the El Paso County Master Gardener Help Desk. They have a microscope
and can take a better look.
They are located at 17 N. Spruce St. 2nd Floor. Please call them for current
hours of operation 520-7684.
