Green Gage Plum Problem. #247206

Attaching photographs of disease(?) on a Green Gage plum tree planted in Spring of 2014. I would appreciate if you could identify the problem and advise as to control/treatment. Thank you.

It looks like Black Knot but I am not sure because of the color of the growths.  This publication does describe that, "After infection, a light brown swelling develops late the same year or the following spring."
