are raised beds made with new pressurized wood safe? #244094

I recently installed 9 beds made with Wolmanized wood (Madwood) for my garden, we have young children and want as healthy vegetables as we can get, but am now concerned about safety of chemical leaching etc. Any information would be much appreciated. Went to great effort to put in organic compost and soil, etc. Thank you very much.

Pressure treated wood in years past had arsenic compounds in them. Today's pressure treated wood have copper. Whether this is a possible problem is not entirely clear. The science suggests it is fine and the EPA has not issued any warnings on it's use in food gardens.
