Glad you contacted us!
Junipers, arborvitae and other evergreens (along with other trees and shrubs) are showing the damage from the sudden freeze last November. Now that everything else is turning green, these browned branches are even more visible. Many shrubs are completely lost, but yours look like they might make it. Prune individual branches to keep a more natural shape (this can be very time consuming, and wear long sleeves!). Shearing is not recommended. New growth should fill in, and with evergreens, that can take time.
Give them adequate water this summer, and remember, the plants suffered a shock so the best approach is to have a light hand with the pruners to leave the most living tissue possible.
Good luck, and don’t hesitate to contact us again.
