I'm not sure if this is something you do, but was wondering if you could help me identify a bush in my yard? A number of bushes have been planted around the edge to form a sort of fence. I live in Frederick county. The picture was taken around October/November. It has blue berries that start out green in Spring and last through most of the winter; tear-drop shaped, veined leaves appear in March and turn brown and fall off in late Oct/Nov; the individual leaves are about 3-4 in long. The soil is fairly well drained, with ~6-8 inches of topsoil above clay. I've tried to search online but couldn't find a match.

This looks like a privet, an exotic invasive. vw
Thank you so much for giving me that lead! With "privet" as a starting point I was able to find a lot of pictures online and I'm pretty sure I have California Privet (ligustrum ovalifolium). I really appreciate your time. Thanks!
