My gooseberrys bloom then... #227209

My gooseberrys bloom then the bloom falls off. I am thinking i mite need to add a mineral to the soil. If so can you tell me. Thanks

Young gooseberry fruit often scorches in heat, especially when plants are growing in full sun. If your plants are receiving too much sun this may be the problem. If your plants are growing in partial shade and you think this isn't the problem, I would suggest submitting a soil sample to your local county extension office to ensure that the gooseberry's nutritional requirements are being met.
