The leaf must have blown in from somewhere, or possibly it was dropped off of a truck carrying leaves that were to be recycled. At this time of year it is fairly easy to spot a Sycamore because of the distinct bark and seed pods. When you are out and about keep a watchful eye, and you may see the Sycamore that sent this leaf your way.
