Hello from Tipton. I really need some help. My fruit trees ( peach and plum) have sections in them that look dead all of a sudden with black and curled leaves...almost like they were burned. wondering if this is a disease or a result of living next to a field that gets crop dusted. Thanks so much for your help.

The symptoms on tree in the photograph are not consistent with the misapplication of herbicides or other materials by nearby farmers.
However, it is not possible to make a diagnosis based on the photograph. A diagnosis may be possible by submitting a plant specimen to the ISU Plant and Insect Diagnostic Clinic. Tips for submitting plant specimens to the clinic can be found at http://www.ent.iastate.edu/pidc/
