How long does it take for a typical green pepper to turn red? The green peppers on my plants have been green for a while and I don't want them to go bad by not picking them. Thanks very much for all the help. A picture6 is attached.

You should pick the pepper in the photo that has the dark spot as it will decline. Bell peppers may reach a mature green stage 70-80 days after transplanting and require an additional 2-3 weeks to fully ripen depending upon the variety.
