Fungus on cucumber plants? #196939
Asked July 05, 2014, 10:36 PM EDT
My cucumbers are generally healthy and I've noticed no pests on them. A few of the leaves have yellow or brown rimmed holes in them (see pictures). Would this be a fungus or virus?

Expert Response
Most likely neither. It looks to be physical damage from wind. A fungus would usually be ringed in yellow and a virus would show deformed of discolored leaves.
Thanks so much. If it's physical damage then it was probably rough handling in the trellis, as it hasn't been windy here. I do appreciate your prompt response!
Let me know if anything else develops, especially on the new growth.
