Asian Pear Fire blight #196451

Hey there. i have 2 20th century asian pears in my front yard. both are about 3 years old. both have leaves that are turning brownish/blackish that seems characteristic of fire blight. young leaves are also curling and turning dark brown. help! what should i do? thanks. :) Thanks!

Fireblight of apples and pears rarely occurs west of the Cascades.  Your image clearly shows that fireblight is not the problem.

I can assist you with determining what is going wrong but need some information and images.  Please send several images: one of an affected branch, another of the tree overall which shows the tree from where it enters the soil to the top.  If the tree is too big for one image, please send two – one of the top and another of the bottom.

At this time I suspect environmental problems perhaps related to how it was planted and/or the follow-up watering practices.  Please describe what you did to the soil (or planting hole) as well as how you water (by hand, sprinkler, or drip); how long; and how often.
