tree was planted one month ago today. approx. 2 weeks after being planted we started noticing green leaves curling then turning brown and dying and or breaking off the tree. what would cause this. we followed the nursery owners instructions to the letter! What can I do to save this tree? I've included 3 photos, one is the day it was planted and the other 2 pics were taken today.
I live in SW Iowa. thank you.

if you could take me one more photo ( a shot of the base of the tree) I want to make sure it was not planted too deep. was it planted the day you brought it home so the third picture (nice and green) is the day you got it and planted it? how did you transport it ( in an enclosed trailer, back of a truck, in a car etc). remember these trees were used to getting watered once or twice a day so it might be shock as it needs to regrow a root system and even a few days of dry, hot , windy weather can cause damage to new trees. how does it look now?thanks, you can email the photos straight to me at <personal data hidden>. it is easier for me to get them as I travel a lot and can't always log in to extension.orgJ
