Hi,
I am in the process of purchasing a home in southeast Denver. The lot is almost an acre and most of it is sod. This is not sustainable for me. I would like your help locating an expert that could help me with an affordable xeriscape design.

Unfortunately as Colorado State University Master Garden Volunteers we are not able to recommend landscape designers. However, if you go to a local independent garden center near you, they may be able to help you with some referrals.
There is quite a bit of information on the Extension website about Xeriscape basics to get you started so you will have some basic knowledge before you go shopping for a designer. Also, there are links at the bottom of these pages to additional information:
