Pest invasion on my cherry trees #187684

Hi, I have notice the other day, some small ant look alike on 3 cherries trees. Could you please tell us how to get ride of them. I can forward some pictures, when reply. Claudio,<personal data hidden>

I can't see the individual insects but the damage looks typical for aphid damage. Insecticidal soap is a good material for home gardens. If this is a commercial orchard consult with your county Extension tree fruit agent for current suggestions.

it is a residential property, I am not familiar with the product that you describe. Could you please advice where to purchase and name brand along with directions, unless written on label

Sorry, the link in my last answer did not work. Try this link for info about Insecticidal Soap. Insecticidal soap is very effective against aphids and spider mites. It can be purchased at most lawn and garden stores.
