Leaf curl on nectarine tree #185075

Asked May 25, 2014, 10:41 AM EDT

Hello. My wife and I planted a young nectarine tree in front of our Brooklyn house last spring. This year it flowered nicely, but now it's infected with leaf curl. Suggestions for treatment? Many thanks.

Expert Response

Leaf curl can be caused by a variety things.  You probably should contact your local extension office and see if you can bring in a sample from the tree so they can identify the cause.  It is somewhat difficult to give much help on something like this without seeing  a sample close up.
