You didn't give me any information. I don't know if you are considering this a weed or if it was planted. I don't know how tall it is. What does the plant look like? Does it have flowers and what do they look like? Information makes problem solving easier.
Today's best guess with no information: It looks like one of the Filipendula family. One, Queen of the Prairie, is a native species, growing three feet tall with flower stalks extending up to five to six feet tall. They do best in soil that is not allowed to dry out and mulched. Pink flowers in late June or early July that look like cotton candy on a stem and have a faint rose-like smell, if this is your plant.
