I think my Texas Ash has several issues. Could have some fungus, could have some insect problems,. But also where I have trimmed there are holes down the center of the branches.

The leaf damage looks like a fungus called anthracnose. No
control is usually required. Damaged leaves will fall off.
The hollow dark area in the pith of the stems is a bigger worry. As the fungus grows throughout the tree, weak branches will break during wind storms and ice storms. You may want to consult an arborist to check the tree for health and safety particularly if any large branches breaking will endanger your home, vehicles or family.
