This was my favorite viburnum when we lived in Madison, Wisconsin. It did not survive the coldest winter in a protected location in Rochester, Minnesota, or at the Minnesota Landscape arboretum. It has not proven hardy in most of Minnesota's Zone 4. Most local garden centers do not carry this shrub because it is often not hardy. Ask your local garden center if they will place a special order for this plant.
