Peach trees all have leaf curl #180725

Asked May 11, 2014, 2:40 PM EDT

All my peach trees are all completely covered in leaf curl I sprayed and followed your pamphlet on spraying for peach trees. Are these saveable?

Expert Response

Peach leaf curl is a common peach disease in the Willamette Valley.  Some years it is worse than others due to weather conditions.  Peach leaf curl doesn't kill trees outright, but the resulting defoliation can cause the trees to be weakened.  If defoliation occurs for several years then the tree may die.

At this point in the growing season there are no effective treatments.
