Hello,
My boxwood shrubs turned brown right after our last hard freeze in March. There had been some new growth that died. Wondering if I should cut it back to the ground.
Thanks!

The late cold spells have really burned alot of Boxwoods this year, some even perishing. I would not advise cuttting a boxwood tot eh ground as there is very little chance of it ever coming back? Give it a few more weeks and as it gets warmer it may still bounce back. If not it may be to far gone?
Hope that helps?

Thank you! Well, we had another freeze Monday evening. Today I looked at them and there is miraculously new growth on the parts that are still green. Unfortunately that part is very limited, so unless the brown parts start generating growth, I am not sure how sightly they will be. I will be patient and see what happens!
Thank you!
