How about this... Can you narrow it down to an indoor plant, outside tree, shrub, etc.?

It's from an outdoor tree.

We wonder if it is a ornamental pear leaf. It looks like some sort of abiotic effect (non-disease pathogen such as sun scald) that occurred when the leaf was developing due to the regular pattern.  Do you know the pattern of the problem on the tree (e.g. other leaves affected similarly or not)? When were symptoms first observed?

I'm sorry, I have no further information about the tree.  I found the leaf on the ground and was I was intrigued by the unusual pattern. Thank you for your time and information.  I hope I didn't cause you any inconvenience.
