How often should the inside of a home refrigerator be cleaned?

We generally recommend cleaning the refrigerator each season. Here are some guidelines for a clean and healthy refrigerator I would also suggest checking the temperature to make certain it is between 34'f and 40'f. This will keep foods fresh and safe as long as possible and reduce the likelihood of mold or bacteria growth if some foods get overlooked in the refrigerator for a long period of time.Good luck!

Thank you for the quick reply. I really enjoyed the Penn State article. I suspect when you said clean the refrigerator "each season" that you meant one a year. Is that correct?
Each of the 4 seasons or4 times a year is recommended.
