Expert Response
Hello,
It's a bit difficult to identify the grass positively from a photo, so I would suggest taking into your local USU County Extension office (1181 North Fairgrounds Drive, Ogden) for positive identification.
Having said that, it does appear to be a perennial grass weed and controlling such a grass in an existing lawn area is difficult. I would encourage you to review this fact sheet on bermudagrass control for recommendations.
Best regards.
